About
Built in Abbotsford. Grown across Western Canada.
Investco Financial began in Abbotsford, British Columbia, as a small advisory practice focused on doing right by the client. Over time we added new carriers, deepened our planning process, and built the systems that let advisors spend more time advising. Today we serve households, professionals and business owners in BC and Alberta.
Our story
One carrier at a time
We started in Abbotsford, BC with a simple idea: clients deserve advice that looks at the whole picture, not just the product being sold. Early on, that meant sitting across kitchen tables and explaining policies in plain language.
As the practice grew, we added carriers carefully. Each new relationship was chosen because it gave clients more choice, not because it made the shelf look bigger. We built our processes around the written plan — income, obligations, protection, savings and estate intentions — so recommendations had context.
The next step was Alberta. We expanded east because clients and advisors asked for the same coordinated approach across provincial lines. The same planning discipline, the same carrier access and the same client portal now serve families and businesses in both provinces.
Today, Investco Financial is still organized around the client relationship. The tools have evolved, but the core has not changed: understand the situation first, recommend only what fits, and review it on a schedule.

What we stand for
How we practise
Advice before product
The recommendation follows the analysis. If nothing needs to change, we say so.
Plain language
You should be able to explain your own plan to someone else after we've met.
Coordination
We work with your accountant and lawyer rather than around them.
Long-term relationships
Plans are reviewed on a schedule, not only when something is being sold.
Disclosure
How we're compensated is explained before anything is implemented.
Care with information
Client information is handled under a documented privacy and security framework.
